Usher, 21 Savage & Summer Walker teams up on “Good Good”.

Usher is back to the music scene as he teams up with 21 Savage and Summer Walker for a brand new single titled “Good Good”. The song is produced by Mel & Mus, and it follows up on Usher’s previous offering “GLU“.

“Usher still cranking out hits like he 25. King of R&B!,” wrote a fan. “Oh this a instant hit! This is what legends do!”

“I hate that we didn’t make it to forever / Probably ain’t gettin’ back together / But that don’t mean that I can’t wish you better / We ain’t good good, but we still good,” Usher sings.

Usher’s ninth studio album is set to release later this year via Larry Jackson’s gamma, and it is reportedly the latest offering from it. Usher hasn’t released a solo studio album in over 7 years, as he last dropped “Hard II Love” in 2016. In 2018, the R&B legend linked up with Zaytoven for a joint album titled “A”.

“It’s all me. When it works for me, I’ve noticed that there’s a bit of conflict and a bit of fun,” said Usher on his past musical lives vs creating new music in interview with VIBE. “And that fun doesn’t have to be literal. I like celebrating something, being able to say, “I love you.” That’s hard. It’s really difficult to do that for any person. Because when you say it, how does a person react to it? There’s these journeys that I’ve gone through that help me be in a better place. These last few years, I hear a lot of hurt and pain in music. It seems a bit more conflicted and in a place of rebellion. But on the other side, I do think that the celebration of that balance of love and admiration—a man finally finding enough confidence to say what he feels, as opposed to acting out what he feels, and misleading this woman, which probably is much easier than saying, “I really want to be loved in this way and don’t know how to say it.” These songs, they unlock certain things. Good and bad.”
