Summer Walker shares “Santa Baby” music video.
Summer Walker decided to celebrate the holiday season with a brand new music video for her song titled “Santa Baby”. The Lisa McCall & Slimwav produced track samples Eartha Kitt’s original track which was released back in 1953.
The song appeared on (LVRN) Love Renaissance’s new holiday special project “Home For The Holidays Vol. 2“, which was released last month with contributions from Baby Tate, dvsn, 6LACK, Westside Boogie, DRAM and more.
“Think of all the fun I’ve missed / Think of all the fellas that I haven’t kissed / Next year I could be just as good / If you’ll check off my Christmas list,” she sings.
Last week, Summer Walker also contributed to Jacquees’ new album “Sincerely For You” on the song called “Tell Me It’s Over” which also featured 6LACK.
A conceptual follow-up to 2019’s Over It, Walker’s sophomore studio album, Still Over It, has been out for a little over a year now. Cardi B, City Girls, SZA, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Pharrell Williams, Omarion, and Ciara all contributed to the project’s 20 tracks, which also included a tonne of assistance. Walker’s debut No. 1 album, Still Over It, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 166,000 album-equivalent unit sales within its first week of availability.
