NAV drops ‘Don’t Need Friends’ video.
NAV continues releasing new material as he teams up with Atlanta’s Lil Baby for the official visual for their song called “Don’t Need Friends“. The track appeared on the Canadian rapper’s new project ‘Emergency Tsunami‘ which is entirely produced by Wheezy.
In the first scene, Nav remains cool in the midst of a massive rainstorm. Nav then joins Lil Baby to flaunt their chains while rapping about how jealous others are of their success. The two are unfazed, knowing that rather than wasting time with two-faced pals, they can depend on their money for comfort. Before the group takes a position in front of a white Lamborghini Urus, the visual switches between red and blue-tinged images. NAV also added glimpses of time in the studio and his flooded XO Records chain submerged in water, highlighting his hard ethic and commitment.
Nav previewed his next album with a bold teaser only days before it was released. Nav spliced together footage from the 2009 Korean natural disaster film Tidal Wave to create Emergency Tsunami, a fitting title for an album.
