Eminem Loses To Cardi B At 2020 MTV EMAs for Best Hip-Hop

Eminem failed to win Best Hip-Hop at 2020 MTV EMAs.

This year’s MTV European Music Awards took place last night which was dominated by Korean Boy Band BTS who grabbed the most, four awards at the annual event. Just like all the music awards ceremonies throughout this year, Eminem failed to win any award at MTV EMAs 2020 as well.

Little Mix hosted the event, which was recorded in different places around Europe, including Budapest and London. Little Mix also played “Sweet Melody,” their most recent song. Doja Cat, Alicia Keys, Zara Larsson, and Sam Smith were among the other performers.

Little Mix hosted the event for the first time, however, only three members of the group, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, were present; Jesy Nelson was unable to attend owing to health issues. Due to the current COVID-19 epidemic, performances for the program were taped in numerous places around Europe, similar to their American equivalent earlier this year.

He was nominated in the Best Hip-Hop category along with DaBaby, Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott, and the winner Cardi B.

Former MTV Europe Music Awards winner, Eminem, has been nominated 34 times. In 2002, Slim Shady won four awards in a single night, making him the most noteworthy winner.
