Eminem and Snoop Dogg connect on “From The D 2 The LBC”
After teasing it since last year, the long-due collaboration between Eminem and Snoop Dogg is finally here. The legendary artists of Detroit and Long Beach teamed up on the song called “From The D 2 The LBC”, which is also produced by Eminem. The track was supposed to appear on Snoop Dogg’s Mount Westmore album “Bad MFs” with Too Short, E-40 and Ice Cube, but was pushed back for unknown reasons.
In a previous interview with The Joe Rogan Experience, Snoop Dogg said, “Eminem really f**king shot at me, he shot his shot. And as a rapper, that’s what you want. You want, when you get a feature, to have to f**king work your a*s off. You want somebody to come to the playing field puttin’ up points and never leavin’ practice to where you gotta rethink your sh*t and say ‘Well, damn, this is what he thinks of me, that’s why he’s goin’ so hard, because he knows that I’m going to match him on this same level.’
“I always got that bomb weed, that’s why I feel a calm breeze / Every time I palm trees (Get it?) just like that blonde bleach / I reached platinum and so did my album, Calvin’s turning me into a zombie / ‘Cause these buds are like the Hulk, they’re twice the size that his arms be,” raps Eminem.
GeeGazza collaborated with Bored Ape to produce the #9055 artwork, which was dubbed “EminApe” because to the ape’s likeness to the rapper: Eminem’s Bored Ape is equipped with a gold chain necklace and a khaki army cap that is quite similar to the one Marshall Mathers III wears in real life.
I still think @Eminem is destined to buy my @BoredApeYC one day. pic.twitter.com/JuoNdE446Q
