Cordae and Eminem connect on the “Parables” remix.
Cordae is back to the music scene as he dropped his brand new album “From A Bird’s Eye View“. One of the collaborations on the project is with Eminem, who assists Cordae on the song called “Parables” Remix.
“I done seen some sh*t within my lifetime, at one time I / Could still remember just how bad I want five mics / My biggest dream was just to make it into unsigned height / It’s so hard for me to fathom this was once my life,” raps Eminem.
Eminem doesn’t hold back in his extended verse, which includes a diss track for 6ix9ine, a mention of Meek Mill, and a reference to Gen-attempts Z’s to cancel him in the past. “Whipped Gen-Z into a frenzy, but no give is in me, I’m stingy/And that is the motherf**kin’ difference between them and me,” the 49-year-old spit.
This is the second joint between the duo in less than a year, as they previous teamed up on “Killer” Remix which also featured Jack Harlow. With the collab, Cordae achieved his first-ever Billboard Hot 100 song as it peaked at number 62.
Cordae’s new album also features guest appearances from Nas, Freddie Gibbs, Gunna, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, Lil Wayne and more.
