Cassidy disses Tory Lanez on the new song “Perjury”.
Recently, Tory Lanez made his second appearance on Funk Flex show for a freestyle, where he spits bars over a classic Cassidy song “I’m a Hustla”. Then Cassidy took to his Social Media where he accused Lanez of stealing his lyrics and flow, and that happened in both of his freestyles on the Funk Flex show. After that, the Canadian artist responds to Cassidy and said that he was just paying homage as he was one of his favorite artists.

“I feel disrespected that he feel like just because he [an] artist with some songs out, that him rappin’ to my beat is like, I should feel privileged,” Cassidy said in hiphopuncensoredpodcast. “Like I should feel like he doin’ something for me, like I should feel grateful. F**k outta here. Ni**as been rappin’ to my beats. I been doin’ this sh*t way before you came around. I don’t give a f**k about you rappin’ to my beat. Pay homage for real, ni**a. Pay homage for real.”

Now Cassidy decided to address the situation lyrically as he dropped a new diss track called “Perjury”. Cassidy has now released “Perjury,” a diss track directed at Tory. Cassidy’s greatest flows in a while can be heard on the track, which can be streamed below, as he takes enormous shots at the Toronto rapper. Cassidy exposes Tory for stealing flows and lyrics on the great majority of his best singles over the course of the four-minute video, while also poking fun of Tory’s Canadian origins.
“These ni**as out here still
stealing my bars
committing perjury and all of that
These ni**as gotta be hommid
I’m about to show them
how you really suppose to carry,” Cassidy says in the Intro.
Cass discussed the matter in a recent appearance with the Hip Hop Uncensored podcast “Pay homage and let ni**as know I’m the reason why you sound and rap like that,” he snapped. “Don’t just f**kin’ rap on my beat. And I don’t need no f**kin’ shout-outs from ni**as. I ain’t never asked for no shout-outs.”
