Benny the Butcher shares a new track “Mr. Pyrex Man”.
Benny the Butcher returns with some new material as he releases a brand new single called “Mr. Pyrex Man”. The track is produced by Fresh Ayr and it comes along with an accompanying music video, which features Westside Gunn and other Griselda and Black Soprano Family members. This will appear on the upcoming BSF Compilation album “Long Live DJ Shay”.
The track is the first solo offering from Benny the Butcher after signing a deal with Def Jam Recordings last month. Recently, he also assisted Morray with the song “Never Fail“.
Mr. Pyrex Man follows Benny’s Harry Fraud-produced The Plugs I Met 2 album, which was released in March 2021. In the new song, the Buffalo rapper expresses his disdain for the work of lesser lyricists, describing “stones in the Cuban…cold as Lake Erie gets” and “stones in the Cuban.” His chilly demeanour extends to the footage, which is littered with jewellery, $100 dollars, and luxury duffel bags that are thrown “straight to the plug like a shovel pass.”
“They think I’m good ’cause I’m up, well, in a nutshell / To labels, I’ma upsell street credit plus sells / They say it’s luck, well, I proved ’em wrong / A half a million bucks later, yup, they still pray to see us fail,” he raps.
