Snoop Dogg drops his new album “B.O.D.R.”
Ahead of the performance at the 2022 NFL Super Bowl halftime show with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige this Sunday, Snoop Dogg decided to capitalize on the hype with the release of a brand new project. The creative consultant and executive of Def Jam have dropped his brand new album called “B.O.D.R.” which means “Back On Death Row”.
This follows up long beach legend’s most recent album “Algorithm“, which was a compilation project with music from Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Benny The Butcher, Dave East, YK Osiris, Blxst, October London, Ty Dolla Sign and more. The new project comes on the heels of a recent announcement that Snoop Dogg has acquired his former label Death Row Records.
Snoop acquired Death Row Records, where he launched his breakthrough album Doggystyle in 1993. BODR is Snoop’s debut album to be released under the label. “BODR is especially important to me and I’m excited to have a full-circle moment in my career at this time,” Snoop said in a statement. “The album has all the classic Snoop Dogg style with surprises and features from some of the dopest artists out there.”
The project contains 18 tracks, with guest appearances from DaBaby on “Pop Pop”, Wiz Khalifa on “We Don’t Gotta Worry No More”, October London on “Snoopy Don’t Go”, The Game of “Jerseys In The Rafters”, Nas on “Conflicted”, T.I. and Sleepy Brown on “Gotta Keep Pushin” and more.
