Russ shares his new project “Chomp 2”.
After revealing the official tracklist earlier today, Russ has unleashed his brand new album “Chomp 2”. Russ had been teasing the project for some time now, calling it the “Album of the Year”. It is a sequel to his last year’s effort, which featured KXNG Crooked, Busta Rhymes, Benny The Butcher & More.
The new album contains a pack of 14 tracks with assistance from some of the top names in the industry. The guest appearances come from Papoose on “Bucket Hat Low”, The Game on “Nothing New”, Westside Gunn and Styles P on “Salute”, Jadakiss on “Faith”, Snoop Dogg, Big KRIT and DJ Premier on “Free”, Jay Electronica on “Top of the World”, Big Sean, Wale, Joey Badass on “Note To Self”, Conway The Machine and Ghostface Killah on “Distance” and more.
Several months previously, the “Losin Control” rapper-producer released SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE, his final official album under Columbia’s label. SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE included 21 cuts and assistance from Ty Dolla $ign, Westside Boogie, Rick Ross, Kiana Ledé, Devin the Dude, and BIA, in addition to its following deluxe update.
The production is handled by Russ himself, along with Mr. Porter, Jake One, 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah, Harry Fraud, Boi-1da and more.
