Chris Brown announces the ‘INDIGOAT’ tour in summer 2019.

This summer, Chris Brown will be on the road. On Monday (June 10), he announced the IndiGOAT Tour, which will feature Ty Dolla $ign, Tory Lanez, Joyner Lucas, and Yella Beezy as support acts. Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 12:00 local time on Wednesday, June 12th. Brown’s upcoming Indigo album will be included with each ticket purchase.

It was initially speculated that Chris and Nicki Minaj, with whom he collaborated on the song “Wobble Up,” would headline the tour together. However, it now looks that Chris will take the lead role alone. They used a concert in Newark, New Jersey on September 13 with Brown billed as the headlining artist and Nicki listed as an opening act as their proof. Nicki never verified or dismissed the rumors on her own.

Chris Brown is all set to drops his new album INDIGO later this month on June 28 and today he decided to announce a tour in support of the project. The 38-city tour which is produced by Live Nation, is called “INDIGOAT” TOUR SUMMER 2019.

Chris’ ninth studio album, Indigo, will be released on June 28 and features Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Juicy J, Trey Songz, Tory Lanez, Tyga, H.E.R., Lil Jon, Joyner Lucas, Gunna, and Drake, who featured on the No. 1 song “No Guidance.”

From Indigo, six songs were officially released: “Undecided,” “Back to Love,” “Wobble Up,” with Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy, “No Guidance,” with Drake, and “Heat,” with Gunna. Its greatest hit was “No Guidance,” which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped the Rhythmic Airplay chart before losing the top slot to the album’s next song, “Heat.”

A surprise cameo by Normani may be seen in Chris Brown’s new music video for “WE (Warm Embrace).” Brown’s fantasy of plummeting from space starts the five-minute clip. As he travels to earth, his brand-new song “Sleep at Night” plays. He awakens a moment later and prepares for a wonderful evening with Normani, his love interest. Brown’s tenth album, Breezy, which is due out on June 24 on RCA Records, including the songs “WE (Warm Embrace)” and “Sleep at Night.” The 23-track album will also contain contributions from a number of other artists, including Anderson.Paak, Blxst, H.E.R., Ella Mai, Est Gee, Fivio Foreign, Jack Harlow, and Lil Wayne.

Indigo opened at position one on the Billboard 200 in the United States with 108,000 album-equivalent units, including 28,000 pure album sales in its first week, earning it his third number-one album in the country. In addition, the album’s 32 tracks received 97.95 million on-demand audio streaming in the United States. The album remained in the top 10 in its second week and slid to number three, collecting slightly under 50,000 album-equivalent units.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded the album platinum status for combined sales and album-equivalent units of over a million in the United States.

Last summer’s “Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour” featured 6LACK, H.E.R., Rich the Kid, and Jacquees. Fans can expect a “fresh high-energy concert replete with his characteristic dance talents and powerful vocals, as well as new music,” according to a press statement.

The “INDIGOAT” tour will kick off on August 20 in Portland after which Chris Brown will go through major spots like New Orleans, Nashville, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, San Antonio, Los Angeles and more before concluding it in Anaheim on October 19. Update: Journalists lauded the tour, praising the stage designs and Brown’s dance ability. Lhana Philavong of The Roar gave a great review of the event in Oakland, California, stating that “Chris Brown’s performance was stunning. The tour was deemed a huge success, grossing over $30,000,000 in 37 shows and selling out the majority of the venues, making it the third most successful hip-hop tour of 2019, trailing only Travis Scott’s “Astroworld – Wish You Were Here Tour” and Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP Tour.”
