T-Pain & Kehlani drops “I Like Dat” video.
Following the release of the single last month, T-Pain continues releasing new material as he teams up with Kehlani for the official video of “I Like Dat“. The vintage-style music video features T-Pain trying to sell his own “Drank” in a saloon and shows Kehlani making out with a woman after taking a sip. “Ever wonder what I would look like as a cowboy 🤠,” T-Pain wrote on his social media.
T-Pain gathers a throng as he belts the track’s initial lines atop a wooden raised surface, dressed in snakeskin cowboy boots and a brown leather outfit in the first shot. Kehlani then makes her dramatic entrance, snatching a bottle of Drank T-Pain’s from his grip and making out with a woman standing behind her.
Kehlani takes over from a green-lit stage inside a ranch-themed pub, wearing a snakeskin top and white fringe leggings to match T-western Pain’s flair. After interacting with the audience, Kehlani is joined by T-Pain for a last duet before riding out in a horse-drawn carriag. T-Pain swings between Auto-Tuned singing and rap lines throughout the song, demonstrating his love and gratitude for the girl in his life, while Kehlani pops up on the second verse to brag about her own accomplishments.
T-Pain remarked regarding the collaboration, “Kehlani has been one of the best to work with, real talk.” “On this track, she did her thing and made it what it is. It can also be like that at times.”
