Moneybagg Yo drops the “Wockesha” video.
Moneybagg Yo returns with some new material as he decided to drop a new music video for his song called “Wockesha“. This follows up the music video for “A Gangsta’s Pain“, the title track of his latest album which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The music video features an appearance from Lil Wayne.
Earlier this week, Moneybagg Yo was one of the performers at the 2021 BET Awards where he performed the same song along with “Time Today“.
The song borrows DeBarge’s 1983 song “Stay with Me,” as well as Lil Wayne’s 2009 interview with Tim Westwood. Moneybagg Yo explains his addiction to lean in the song. (“One minute I’m done with you, the next one I be runnin’ back / Go your way, I go my way but somehow we be still attached”)
