The Weeknd continues with the release of new material as he drops the official video for his song “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength)”. The track is produced by the Swedish House Mafia & Simon Franglen, and the new music video is directed by Quentin Deronzier. The song appeared on the soundtrack of the new science fiction film “Avatar: The Way Of Water”.
“Been living this life so patient / Until I see you again, it’s war we’re facin’ / I know that if I die my only choice is still defending / No matter what they say / My love for you is greater than their powers and their armies from above,” he sings.

The music video showcases the Na’vi people living in their natural environment before they are forced to flee into the water due to a fire. The track was co-created by the Swedish House Mafia, who also contributed as co-writers. According to Billboard, the song is a reference to Gerard McCann’s “Cry Little Sister,” which was featured in the 1987 film, “The Lost Boys” soundtrack.
