The Weeknd shares a visual for “Popular” with Madonna & Playboi Carti.
The Weeknd is back with something new as he officially releases the music video for his single titled “Popular”. The song is produced by Metro Boomin, Mike Dean, and it featured assistance from Madonna and Playboi Carti. The song was released last year as part of his HBO series The IDOL Vol. 1 Soundtrack.
“Tell me, do you see her? She’s livin’ her life / Even if she acts like she don’t want the limelight / But if you knew her, she lives a lie / She calls the paparazzi, then she acts surprised,” sings Weeknd.
Earlier last month, The Weeknd teased his new era, which will be a follow-up album to his 2022 project “Dawn FM”, which was his fifth studio effort.
