Lil Durk drops the music video for “What Happened To Virgil” with Gunna.
Lil Durk continues putting out new material as he links up with Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett for the music video of his hit single “What Happened To Virgil”. The song is one of the fan-favourite off his latest album “7220“, and featured assistance from Gunna.
“Life is so short that you can’t waste even a day subscribing to what someone thinks you can do versus knowing what you can do,” a quote from late Virgil Abloh appears in the end.
“I love the trenches, this sh*t is eternal / Oh my God, what happened to Virgil? / I wish my brother had made it out surgery / I be up thinkin’, that sh*t do be hurtin’ me,” raps Durk.
In March, his new album 7220 debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 list, selling around 120,500 total album-equivalent units in its first week. Future, Summer Walker, and country artist Morgan Wallen all make cameos on the album, in addition to Gunna.
