The Weeknd shares a visual for “Gasoline”.
The Weeknd continues putting out new material as he now drops the music video for his song called “Gasoline”. The track is produced by The Weeknd himself, along with Oneohtrix Point Never. In the dark visual, The Weeknd fights his elder self and ends up killing him in between a party.
This follows up his previous video “Sacrifice” and appeared on his brand new album “Dawn FM“, which featured contributions from Jim Carrey, Quincy Jones, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne and more.
After Hours was inspired by films like Joker, Casino, and Uncut Gems, and followed the experience of a crazy night out a la Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Abel Tesfaye’s red-pigmented record ended with him shattered and bleeding. Dawn FM continues up precisely where After Hours left off, with Tesfaye trapped in traffic while listening to a relaxing radio show presented by none other than Jim Carrey.
