Pusha T shares visual for “Call Me Bluff”.
Pusha T continues putting out new material as he now releases the official video for his song called “Call My Bluff”. The Pharrell Williams produced song is one of the fan-favourite off his latest album “It’s Almost Dry“, which is his first in four years. The dark music video is directed by Omar Jones & Onda, and shows the rapper having a dinner party with his friends.
“We only in the sport to be LeBrons / When you used to platinum, that gold be bronze / Your favorite rapper’s dressing like Comic-Con / These necklaces is different from charm to charm / Buried drug money from lawn to lawn / We learned from the wizards and Poppa Ron’s,” he raps.
Push’s status as a gangsta supervillain is further cemented by the video for “Call My Bluff.” The song is equally as unsettling as the images, thanks to the rapper’s creepy smirk and Pharrell’s ominous production. According to Pharrell, he introduced Push to Joker and helped fill the record with his psychotic DNA.
“For me, I’ve known who Arthur Fleck was all my life,” Pharrell says of how Push embodies Joaquin Pheonix’s portrayal of the Joker. “It’s him. That’s who the f**k he is. He’s really that. And he hadn’t seen Joker. That’s the funny thing. I had to get him to watch it. He hadn’t even seen [the movie], and when I got him to watch it. I was like, ‘Bro, you know this is you, right?’ And at first, he thought I was kidding. I had to tell him I wasn’t kidding. He’s watching the sh*t that he does, and he’s like, ‘Oh, this is me.’”
