The Weeknd drops the “Snowchild” video.
After giving us the remix of “In Your Eyes” with Doja Cat, The Weeknd continues to get back to releasing music videos. He drops the official visual for his song called “Snowchild” which is one of fan-favorite off his latest “After Hours” album. He previously dropped the video for “Until I Bleed Out“.
When After Hours was released, it had the largest opening week of the year. The album has had 221 million streams and 275,000 physical copies have been sold. Deluxe editions of the record came with retail packages that included tickets to a global tour that was later postponed. Billboard altered the qualifying criteria last week, removing product and ticket bundles like these off the Hot 100 and Top 200 charts.
The Weeknd has contributed $1 million to MusiCares and COVID-19 aid in his hometown of Toronto in response to the epidemic.
