Childish Gambino drops the video for ‘Feels Like Summer’.
Back in July, Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover released two new songs called ‘Feels Like Summer‘ and ‘Summertime Magic‘ and today he returns with the official video for ‘Feels Like Summer‘. The full animated video features animated versions of artists like Drake, J. Cole, Kanye West, Birdman, Kodak Black, Travis Scott and more.
The song was in the FIFA 19 soundtrack. It was eventually released as “42.26” on his fourth album, 3.15.20. At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, the song was nominated for Best R&B Song.
Unlike his dance-fuelled video for “This Is America,” he’s gone with animation, following the rapper around a hip-hop-inspired neighbourhood. The video features some of the top hip-hop names in various scenarios while Gambino strolls down the street. Travis Scott and Nikki Minaj may be seen playing blocks, Future snatching Drake’s bike, and Migos playing basketball. 21 Savage, Metro, Will Smith, and Kanye West are among the other artists featured.
