Kendrick Lamar shares “Count Me Out” video.
Following the release of the “Rich Spirit” visual last month, Kendrick Lamar is back with another one. This time, the Compton rapper unveils a much-awaited music video for his song titled “Count Me Out” which is directed by Dave Free and K Dot himself.
The song is taken from Kendrick’s most recent album “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers“, which helped him grab 8 nominations for Grammy Awards 2023, including Record Of The Year, Best Rap Album, Album Of The Year and Song of the Year.
“One of these lives, I’ma make things right / With the wrongs I’ve done, that’s when I unite / With the Father, Son, ’til then, I fight / Rain on me, put the blame on me / Got guilt, got hurt, got shame on me,” he raps.
In the most recent Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers video, which begins in the middle of therapy, Mirren plays Lamar’s counselor. Lamar confesses to sending a late-night text to his analyst saying, “I feel like I’m fallen,” before sharing a story about rushing in and snatching a woman’s place to park. He then goes on to express his feelings.
