Grammy Awards 2023 Nominations Announced Beyonce, Adele & Kendrick Lamar Dominates

2023 Grammy Awards nominations announced.

The 2023 Grammy awards will take place on Sunday, February 5th in Los Angeles, and the nominations for the event have been announced today. Beyonce is the most nominated artist this year with 9 nominations, while Kendrick Lamar becomes the most nominated male artist with 8 nominations. Beyonce has also surpassed her husband Jay-Z to become the most nominated artist in Grammy history.

Bad Bunny, Adele, Beyonce, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, and Lizzo are among the nominees for album of the year. In the Song of the year category, Adele, Beyonce, DJ Khaled, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and more earned nominations. Adele, BTS, Doja Cat, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, and Taylor Swift earned nominations for Best Music Video. Adele, Beyonce, Doja Cat, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles and more were among the record of the year nominees.

For the best rap album category, DJ Khaled, Future, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Pusha T earned nominations for their latest albums “God Did”, “I Never Liked You“, “Come Home the Kids Miss You“, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers“, “It’s Almost Dry“. They are also nominated for the Best Rap Song category.

Beyonce vs. Adele — “a major duel” between two “once-in-a-lifetime voices,” as Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.said, is expected to be the main point of interest during the event, which is slated for Feb. 5 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The battle will be reflective of the 59th Grammy Awards, when the two competed within the same categories and Adele’s sweep led the English singer to broke down in tears declare from the stage that she really can not rightfully receive the album award for her beautifully made “25” over Beyoncé’s revolutionary “Lemonade.”

Chris Brown, Lucky Daye, Mary J. Blige and PIJ Morton and Robert Glasper were nominated for Best R&B Album. The likes of Latto and GloRilla are among first-time nominees at the Grammys.
