Joell Ortiz & KXNG Crooked releases visual for “Sorry”.
The duo of Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked continues putting out new material as they now release a music video for their song called “Sorry”. The Heatmakez produced track appeared on their latest joint album “Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse“, and follows up their previous video “Backstage“. The video was shot at a store where the former Slaughterhouse members had a fan meet up, and signed the album copies.
“we had that studio energy you could bounce of / My ni**a finish a clip, I let a round off / Listen to us then listen to them, man, they sound soft / Joe, Crooked, Nickel, and Yaowa, yeah, the proud four / Kings of these rap group sh*t, we took the crowns off,” raps Ortiz.
“Conspiracy theories fueled the rumors / Slaughterhouse fake, they definitely moved to Cuba / They were decidin’ now, the group is not around / Ni**as with solo like Bobby Brown / So H.A.R.D. came back with the new edition,” he raps.
On March 11th, KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz released a collaborative album titled Rise & Fall of Slaughterhouse. The left-out members of the ex-group were not pleased with the advertising and release of this new record, which plainly referenced the group as a whole.
