A$AP Rocky has been in the news for a variety of reasons you would not expect. A$AP Rocky has been embroiled in a string of scandals in recent weeks, ranging from his incarceration and rumours that he was disloyal to Rihanna, who is expecting his child. However, the pair has moved on from the speculations, with Rocky’s latest single, “D.M.B,” being released. Rocky releases the video for his single “Dats Mah Bish,” which features Rihanna, on Thursday (May 5).
The rap star most recent single is a tribute to his child’s mother, but still only Rocky can make a love song seem so vibrant. The song delves into the couple’s origins, with him confessing that he didn’t believe it was anything more than a fling until they were sharing clothing and she was feeding his buddies. He goes on to brag on Rihanna’s billion-dollar wealth in the second stanza.

The foggy production is evocative of his early work, specifically Live.Love. Long.Live.A$AP and A$AP. Though he doesn’t necessarily lower his tone as much as he did when paying homage to Houston, the Southern influence is audible on the hook. Rocky, on the other hand, spends the second part of the album honing his vocal abilities over even more experimental music with a psychedelic touch.
The video features casual photos of the pair strolling across New York City, along with several sequences previously released by paparazzi.
