DaBaby & Roddy Ricch performs “Rockstar” at Grammys 2021.
The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards is taking place right at the Staples Center which includes a lot of performances including one from two of the hottest names in Hip-Hop, DaBaby, and Roddy Ricch. The duo did a performance of their single called ‘Rockstar‘ which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
When DaBaby’s last studio album, Blame it on Baby, came out, the song “Rockstar” became a hit. “Rockstar” was remixed by DaBaby for the Black Lives Matter movement this past summer, as protests occurred all across the country. In the music video for the song, DaBaby is stopped and frisked, sending a forceful message.
As rockstars, Roddy and DaBaby dominated the stage, backed by Anthony Hamilton and a chorus. DaBaby arranged the ensemble’s music as Roddy spat his lines and Anthony Hamilton screamed his heart out.
