Nas performed at the 64th annual Grammy Awards.
Even though Nas failed to win another Grammy for “King’s Disease II” at this year’s Grammy Awards, the rapper made his mark with an iconic performance at the event. The legendary rapper performed a medley at the event, which he kicked off with the 2002 hit “I Can”. He then performed 2002’s “Made You Look”, 2001’s “Once Mic”, and concluded the performance with 2021’s “Rare”.

Last year, the rapper won his first-ever Grammy for “King’s Disease” in the Best Rap Album category. Nas was nominated for Best Rap Song for his contributions to DMX’s posthumous “Bath Salts,” which he co-wrote with JAY-Z. This is his 16th Grammy nomination overall. The other nominees in the category were “Best Friend” by Saweetie and Doja Cat, “My Life” by 21 Savage and Morray, “Family Ties” by Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar, and the winner “Jail” by Kanye West and Jay-Z.
At the 64th annual Grammy Awards, he lost to Tyler, The Creator’s “Call Me If You Get Lost“. In the same category, J. Cole’s “The Off-Season” and Kanye West’s “Donda” were also nominated.
