Lil Baby performs on Saturday Night Live.
Lil Baby was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live as he made his solo debut on the show. This week’s show was hosted by actor Michael B. Jordan. The Atlanta rapper performed his song titled “California Breeze”, followed by the emotional “Forever” with a background pianist.
The tracks appeared on Baby’s most recent album “It’s Only Me“, which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200. It moved 216,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, which is the biggest debut of Baby’s career.
In an interview with XXL, the rapper was questioned about the release and if there was any pressure to surpass his second album, “My Turn”. “Yes, and then no,” he told the outlet. “Yes, because I’ma always want to outdo myself. I’m the only person where I’m like I’m tryna outdo, ya feel me? And then no, because I never actually try to outdo myself. I just know to do what I suppose to do and it just like always happens for me that way, feel me? I’ll outdo myself with no problem.”
