Latto flexes her rap skills on the Funk Flex show.
Latto is prepping the release of her forthcoming new album “777“, which is all set to drop this Friday. Earlier this week, she unveiled the official tracklist and revealed that the album will feature appearances from Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Childish Gambino, Lil Durk, Nardo Wick and more.
After recently making an appearance on Big Boy Tv, Latto continues the promo run as she now made a visit to the Funk Flex show on Hot 97. On the show, Ohio born rapper took part in Funkmaster Flex’s freestyle series, where she spit bars over GK and OutKast’s “Int’l Players Anthem”.
Since the tracklist was released, the existing guests on 777 have also been scrutinised. Latto said in a recent interview with Big Boy that one of the male performers on her record had been stiffing her since she was not responsive to his se*ual approaches. “It’s a feature on my album that was difficult to clear. They tryna drop they nuts on me because I won’t respond to a DM,” she said. “We think like, ‘Oh, well that just comes with the game being a female rapper.’ No it shouldn’t, though. You know you ain’t doing that to your fellow male rappers!”
