Cordae spits bars in LA Leakers freestyle.
Cordae is on the promo run for his upcoming new album “From A Bird’s Eye View” and now he made a visit to Power 106 for the new LA Leakers Freestyle, four years after he delivered his first one. He sat down with Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk for an incredible 10-minute freestyle session.
In the three-piece offering, the North Carolina rapper spit bars over the late Notorious B.I.G.’s “Kick The Door In,” Jadakiss’ “Put Ya Hands Up,” and Kodak Black’s Hot 100 hit “Super Gremlin.”
“Oh, I get it, you ni***s must’ve forgot / I’m like a young f***in’ Malcolm with a touch of Barack / Got this ballplayer main b**** sucking’ my c*** / But, that was years ago, I got the weirdest flow / Been doing this sh*t since cartoons and cereal / I’m not new to this, I’m true to this, shout to Ludacris / My first words, “Move b****” when I came out the uterus,” he raps on Jada’s beat.
Cordae’s second studio album, From a Bird’s Eye View, is set to be released in the coming months. The album, which will be released this Friday, will include previously released collaborations with Roddy Ricch (“Gifted”) and Lil Wayne (“Sinister”), as well as guest performances from Eminem, Freddie Gibbs, Gunna, H.E.R., Lil Durk, Nas, and Stevie Wonder. From a Bird’s Eye View is Cordae’s first new project since his four-track EP Just Until… was released in April of last year, and it serves as the long-awaited follow-up to his first album The Lost Boy, which he released in 2019.
Cordae’s new album is dropping on January 14th with guest appearances from Eminem, Nas, Freddie Gibbs, Lil Durk, Gunna, Lil Wayne and more.
