Young Thug earns 8th top 10 charting album on Billboard.
The first week numbers for the latest releases are here, and Young Thug’s new album “Business is Business” earns a top 10 debut on Billboard.
The incarcerated rapper’s third studio album debuts at #2 on US Billboard 200 with 89,000 equivalent album units, which includes SEA units comprising 80,000 (equaling 106.32 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks), album sales comprise 8,500 and TEA units comprise 500. This is Thugger’s 8th top 10 charting project on the Billboard 200.

This was the rapper’s first project since he was arrested in the RICO case last year, and a follow-up to 2021’s “Punk“. Thug’s new album features 15 tracks, with guest appearances from Drake, Future, 21 Savage, Yak Gotti, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and more.

Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen continued to make history on the charts as he earned his 15th non-consecutive week at #1 on the US Billboard 200. This is the most weeks at No. 1 among all albums since Adele’s 21 earned 24 nonconsecutive weeks atop the list in 2011-12.
