Young Thug to drop his new album soon.
It’s a season of so many big albums, and now Young Thug also prepping his next studio project. The YSL boss dropped his previous album “Punk” last year, and the label compilation project “Slime Language 2“, and now he’s already ready for his third solo album.
Thugger took to his social media to share a bloody artwork for his new album. “These past few weeks gave me so much to talk bout.. y’all ready??,” he wrote in the caption. Thug’s previous’ project was a star-studded effort, featuring Drake, J. Cole, Gunna, Future, Doja Cat, ASAP Rocky, Travis Scott and more.
Now the new project is in the line of several other highly anticipated albums, including Post Malone, Future, Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar.
What caught the attention of fans was the similarity of the artwork to the covers of the other LPs in the Slime Season mixtape series, leading many to believe that this new release is in fact Slime Season 4. The first installment of the Slime Season mixtape series was released in 2015, followed by its sequel a month later. The third installment arrived in 2016. All three mixtapes feature album art that conceals Young Thug’s eyes.

In any case, Slime Season 4 is on the way, according to fans.“Dat sh*t young thug posted looks like a potential Slime season 4 album cover,” one person wrote. “If it is I know it’s gon be hard,” while another said, “Based on the cover of the upcoming Young Thug project, it better be what I think it is.”
Strick, J. Cole, T-Shyne, Gunna, Future, Juice WRLD, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Travis Scott, and the late Mac Miller all contributed to Young Thug’s most recent complete album, Punk, which was released in 2021. With nearly 90,000 total album-equivalent units sold in its first week, the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
There’s no update on the album following the artwork, as the rapper has been in jail for over a now. Back in May last year, Young Thug was arrested in Atlanta on allegations of street gang activity and conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. The Young Slime boss was denied bond three times last year and he filed 4th motion for bond in April as he awaits trial.
Just recently, Thug also assisted Quavo on “Focused” off the album “Rocket Power“, and Travis Scott on “SKITZO” off the album “Utopia“.
