Young Thug debuts some new songs from the upcoming album “Punk”.
Young Thug is all set to release his new album “Punk” later this month, and before that, he decided to debut a couple of new songs from the project. Thugger provided his new music for the Givenchy Show, where models ramp walked with new designs for Women & Men’s Spring Summer 22 Collection.
Young Thug’s fans are well aware that the rapper has been teasing Punk for quite some time. Thugga praised the project in an interview with The Fader in 2019 and stated it will be considerably different from his debut studio album So Much Fun. “So Much Fun is like nothing to be thought about. It’s only for fun purposes,” he said. “The name of the album is directly what it means.” He added that Punk will be more about “real life,” and said the project was partially inspired by 2Pac. “Tupac could be one of the biggest rappers in the world because he rapped what he rapped about. I had conversations with JAY-Z and he told me, ‘We gotta learn how to continue what Pac had going. Pac was a teacher. Pac teaches.’”
Matthew M. Williams, the creative director of Givenchy, took to Instagram before the show, to announce the show with unreleased Young Thug music. “Honored and excited to announce the soundtrack for my first physical @givenchyofficial show tonight is an original score by my friend @thuggerthugger1 with unreleased music from his upcoming album “PUNK”,” he wrote. The post showed that the new tracks were titled “Hate The Game”, “Police” and “More”.

Previously, Young Thug dropped his song called “Tick Tock“, and also premiered some new music at his recent appearance at NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert in July. Thug’s new album “Punk” is slated to release on October 15.
A Gangsta’s Pain debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 on May 8, 2021, with 110,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week, with virtually all of this coming from streaming. The album slid to number two on the list in its second week, collecting an additional 70,000 sales. In its third week, the album reclaimed the top spot on the chart, selling an extra 61,000 copies.
