Tupac Shakur’s BMW is up for sale at $1.7 Million.
25 years ago, the legendary Tupac Shakur and Suge Knight attended Mike Tyson’s fight against Bruce Seldon at MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and on their way back, 2Pac was shot multiple times. On Sept. 7, 1996, they were stopped at a red light, when a gunman pulled up and fired at them, hitting Tupac four times, while only grazing Suge. The 25-year-old rapper was announced dead six days later.
Poems, jailhouse letters, and previously unseen photographs by the rapper were all sold for tens of thousands of dollars. This time, the 1996 BMW 750IL in which Tupac was shot is for sale, but at a cost.
Now the BMW that Tupac was shot in, is up for sale at $1.7 million. The bullet holes of the 1996 BMW 750IL have been repaired and restored to their original condition. The car is on display at the Celebrity Cars LA Vegas Showroom, near the fatal shooting site. The car was also in Auction in 2017 with a price of $1.5 million.
Tupac’s death has sparked several conspiracy theories, with many blaming the Southside Crips, a gang from Compton, California. The rapper was also embroiled in a battle with Notorious B.I.G. To this day, Hit ‘Em Up is regarded as the greatest “diss song” of all time, with several threats directed towards Biggie and other East Coast rappers. Tupac’s killer has never been located, despite several leads and investigations.
