Trippie Redd Takes Shots At C-List Rappers For Low Album Sales Avengers Of Trash

Trippie Redd shades trash rappers with low first-week sales.

Every Friday we see several projects dropping, but only a few hits big first week numbers. Now Trippie Redd takes aim at all the artists who sell less than 30k equivalent units in the initial 7 days, and called them “Avengers of trash”.

“I need all the C-list rappers… we ‘bout to create the Avengers of trash ni**s,” he said. “Ni**a, we gon’ sell what? If we all put our 30,000 first week together, we gonna make a milli, ni**a.”

While Ohio born didn’t name any rappers, it could be a shot at Coi Leray, whose debut album “Trendsetter” sold around 11,000 copies this week. Fivio Foreign also dropped his debut album “B.I.B.L.E” last week, which moved around 29,000 in the first week.

Fivio Foreign’s B.I.B.L.E. is on track for a top 10 debut with 29,000 album-equivalent units, and 42 Dugg and EST Gee’s Last Ones Left will likely land right underneath Fivio at number 11 with 26,000 album-equivalent units, while none of them are close to breaking into the top five spots on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile, both Coi Leray and Vince Staples are expected to sell fewer than 20,000 copies, with the former’s first album, Trendsetter, expected to sell only 11,000 album-equivalent units.
