Tory Lanez thinks modern music does not last with fans longer than a few months.
It is often said that the music nowadays can’t match the old days’ stuff, which is still being listened to by the fans. Tory Lanez also noticed the same and he gives his take on modern music, which he thinks is becoming repetitive. The Canadian artist believes that even music from our favourite artists isn’t lasting in our playlists for more than a few months.
“It’s crazy ….. music hasn’t ACTUALLY BEEN STICKING lately ….like all of our favorite artist music is not lasting with us longer than 4-5 months … real music must come back into play .. real emotion . Less repetitive and redundant,” Tory Lanez wrote.

“I think it’s more about people attention span getting shorter over time more than it is bout the redundancy of rap,” responds a fan. “Nah all beats are really just the same now and songs don’t tells stories, compare drakes album views to CLB for example. Views each song carries its own emotion and the vocals act as more of an instrument to compliment it, clb is just generic trap beats and no soul in it,” said another. One fan also claims that the streaming “f**ked” the game, as it can’t match the old CD days.
Tory’s comments come as he prepares to release Alone at Prom, his ’80s-inspired album, on December 1. When It’s Dark, his first-ever streaming NFT album was launched in August, and he says it sold one million copies in under a minute.
