The Game still remembers being left off of the 50 GOAT Rappers list.
Back in 2019, a trend hit social media where hip-hop artists were posting their 50 greatest rappers of all-time lists. Now The Game brings it back into the conversation and called out Funkmaster Flex, T.I. and radio personality Ebro for not mentioning him in their lists.
Who is the goat of rappers? Who is the best MC of all time? This was one of most discussed topic back in 2019! The list sparked debate online, with many claiming that the veteran Hot 97 presenter omitted several important people.
Despite his previous criticism of Drake, Funk Flex ranked the Toronto rapper fifth, although with a “Questionable Pen” caveat owing to Drake’s reported employment of ghostwriters in the past. He also used the same disclaimer with Kanye West, who ranked 17th.
“@oldmanebro @funkflex & @troubleman31…… I ain’t forgot about these lists… #DRILLMATIC coming soon…. HURRICANE GAME LIVES y’all shoulda just threw my baby mamas in there too !!!!,” wrote The Game.
While most of the lists features Hip-Hop greats like 2Pac, Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and more, The Game thinks he also deserves to be a part of the best evers to do it. Last year, he made a series of tweets claiming that he never got respect from the music industry. “I never got my flowers from the industry cause wouldn’t be a puppet for the dollar bill #ThugLife,” he wrote.
The Game is currently working on his upcoming album, and it is claimed to be the album of the year 2022. He recently teamed up with Kanye West for a new single “Eazy“. The song, which was released on Saturday, January 15, debuted at No. 49 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. This was Game’s biggest charting single since 2008’s “My Life” starring Lil Wayne.
