SZA tops another week on Billboard 200 with “SOS”.
SZA continues her dominance on the US Billboard charts as her latest album “SOS” now spends the 10th non-consecutive week at number one. In the chart week ending February 23, SZA’s SOS earned 87,000 equivalent album units in the US. The last time a female artist went 10 weeks on US Charts was Adele with her album “25”, which achieved this feat in 10 non-consecutive weeks in 2015-16.

P!nk made her return with her new album “Trustfall”, which debuted at #2 on Billboard 200 with 74,500 equivalent units.

“Right now, I just have extreme gratitude because I swear to God, I never thought I’d be No. 1 for even a week, let alone seven,” said SZA previously, as she was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year.
“SZA is a force,” said Terrence “Punch” Henderson. “To go seven consecutive weeks at No. 1 is legendary. She’s a true generational artist, a cultural reset, if you will. For her album SOS to blend so many different genres together in a cohesive frame shows her genius and versatility. Then you have the voice, the words, the pain, the growth, the relapsing, the delivery, the stories, etc. … a true masterpiece.”
SZA revealed in an interview with on February 22 that the deluxe edition of her album, SOS, would feature 10 new tracks. She also discussed her plans after the release, stating her hope of being able to acknowledge the completion of this chapter in her career. She expressed her desire to experience true pride in her accomplishments and not simply acknowledge external validation, but feel it internally and recognize her own worth. “After I do the deluxe, I’m hoping to be able to accept that this chapter is done. I’m looking forward to actually feeling proud of myself and not just nodding at accolades, but really feeling it internally and knowing that I’m good enough.”
