Snoop Dogg reflect on the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show with Dr. Dre and others.
We’re closing in on the 2022 NFL Super-Bowl event next month, which will take place on February 13 in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. As announced, this year the halftime show will feature a performance from Hip-Hop greats, including Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige. The five artists have combined 43 Grammys and have created 22 No. 1 Billboard albums.
Snoop Dogg made an appearance on ESPN’s Monday Night Football show, where he was asked about the upcoming event. “It’s gonna be a great performance,” he said. “You got Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg. This gonna be a great presentation. We still thankful that NFL is accepting Hip-Hop on stage and letting us do what we do. We gonna put together a great show, give the people what they been waiting on. They love to watch a great Super Bowl game and at the halftime they love to see who gonna perform so we’re gonna give you the greatest performance you’ve even seen in Hip-Hop history.”

“The opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show, and to do it in my own backyard, will be one of the biggest thrills of my career,” Dr. Dre said in a statement previously. “I’m grateful to JAY-Z, Roc Nation, the NFL, and Pepsi as well as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar for joining me in what will be an unforgettable cultural moment.”
JAY-Z also commented on the forthcoming event, saying, “On February 13, 2022, at the Super Bowl LVI in Inglewood, CA, in the new SoFi Stadium, Dr. Dre, a musical visionary from Compton, Snoop Dogg, an icon from Long Beach and Kendrick Lamar, a young musical pioneer in his own right, also from Compton, will take center field for a performance of a lifetime. They will be joined by the lyrical genius, Eminem, and the timeless Queen Mary J. Blige. This is the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is history in the making.”
Recently, Snoop Dogg dropped his brand new star-studded album “Algorithm“, and an accompanying movie. Dr. Dre also made his return to the music with new songs for GTA Online Game.
