Snoop Dogg reveals his Top 10 MCs of the all-time list. No Eminem.
Snoop Dogg has no regrets regarding his top ten list of all-time greatest MCs, even though many musicians were left off. A few days ago, Snoop Dogg appeared on The Breakfast Club for an interview, where he said that Eminem is not in his Top 10 list. “Eminem, the great white hope. White rappers had zero respect in rap, let’s keep that in mind,” said Snoop Dogg. “He has probably put Eminem in the position where he could be labelled as one of the top 10 rappers ever, I don’t think so but the gang feels like he’s top 10 lyricists and all that. That’s just because he’s with Dr. Dre and Dr. Dre helped him find the best Eminem that he could find.”

After that, he received a lot of flak from Eminem fans so he decided to reveal his Top 10 MCs of all-time list. The list features the likes of Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Ice T, and more. The list of course doesn’t feature Eminem, but it doesn’t even have Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G., who probably are in Top 5 in everyone’s list.
Snoop Dogg captioned the post with, “A lot ni**az been cryin about me leaving people off my top 10 without. Even seeing my sh*t so here it is F. Y. I. Notice how none of my peers or m. Cs after me are on the list respect ya. Gz is what I was taught if u offended you’ll get over it I get left off a lot of top10s I’m not even on this one.”

He also emphasized that none of the artists on the list are younger than him or came after him in the rap game, which he considers to be an important virtue he learned about respecting the OGs.

After putting their beefs aside, From Detroit to the LBC song is the latest collab between the two legends. The song was released alongside a largely animated music video made by James Larese, in which the two rappers periodically change into Bored Ape-style avatars. The tune arrives only a few months after Eminem and Snoop Dogg performed at the Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show. Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent were among others that joined them. It also comes little over a week after Em released his and CeeLo Green’s contribution to the soundtrack of the Elvis movie, “The King and I.”
