Hip-Hop Twitter is not happy as Rolling Stone puts Cardi B above Nas, Eminem, Lil Wayne and others.
Rolling Stone comes up with a new Rap list, this time the 200 greatest Hip-Hop albums of all time. In their list, they ranked The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 debut album “Ready To Die” at number 1, followed by Outkast’s “Stankonia” at 2 and Jay-Z’s “The Blueprint” at third. Public Enemy’s 1988 album “It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back” is ranked number 4 on the list. Kendrick Lamar also makes it to the top 5 with his “To Pimp A Butterfly”.

However, the fans are not happy with one of the albums on the list, as Cardi B’s debut effort “Invasion of Privacy” is the 16th greatest Hip-Hop album of all time according to the platform. They put her above Nas’ “Illmatic”, which is considered to be the greatest rap album of all time. Nas’ debut album which was dropped in 1994, in ranked number 24 on the list.
Invasion of Privacy was released by Atlantic Records in April 2018. The album opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling approximately 255,000 total album-equivalent units in its first week, with around 103,000 of those sales coming from pure album sales. The Recording Industry Association of America certified it three times platinum (RIAA).
