Roddy Ricch Forgets The Lyrics To The Box During His Concert Performance

After forgetting the words to his most popular song, Roddy needed to gather his thoughts.

The newest victim of forgetting bars during a live performance is Roddy Ricch. The rapper from Compton, California, appeared to forget the lyrics to his own chart-topping hit song while playing onstage.

Roddy Ricch, a 23-year-old rapper, became disoriented while performing on stage lately. The Compton rapper rapped his smash song “The Box” during his set, which was recorded on video. He appeared to forget the words as he began to rap the first verse.

“I was out back where the stash was/Cruise the city in a bulletproof Cadillac/’Cause I know these ni**as after where the bag was/Must move smarter, gotta move harder,” he was meant to rhyme. Instead, he looked away from the audience and waved his hands to the music. When the artist understood what he had done, he smiled and locked eyes with his workers.

Roddy Ricch appears to be rapping the hook of his 2019 diamond-selling single “The Box” in a video filmed by TikToker terphub (aka JimTanna) and published on his page on Saturday (May 7), but forgets the first few words of the first verse. The 2019 XXL Freshman waits for a second before turning around and giggling. He then indicates to his DJ that he is unable to hear the music through his earpiece. The audience begins to express their displeasure with the rapper.

Following backlash from fans online, the Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial musician has begun sharing bits of new songs. His most recent album, Live Life Fast, failed to wow audiences, but he’s determined to alter their minds with his next ventures.

This follows the release of Ricch Roddy’s sophomore album, Live Life Fast, in December. Live Life Fast debuted at number four on the Billboard 200. The album was lead by Roddy Ricch’s hit “Late At Night.” Roddy Ricch teamed with Future, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Jamie Foxx, and others on eighteen tracks.
