Rod Wave earns another Billboard #1 with “Beautiful Mind”.
The first-week number for recent hip-hop albums are here, and as predicted Rod Wave soars to the top of Billboard Charts. Rod Wave’s latest fourth studio album “Beautiful Mind” topped Billboard 200 with 115,000 equivalent units, including 157.73 million on-demand streams and 2,000 from pure sales.
Cold December, which debuted in January and became the artist’s sixth top 40-charting success on the Billboard Hot 100 in February, served as Beautiful Mind’s lead single (peaking at No. 38). The album was initially scheduled to be released on June 3 but was ultimately delayed until August 12.
This is the 22-year-old’s second consecutive #1 album on the US Billboard chart, following last year’s “Soulfly” which earned it with 130,000 album-equivalent units. Wave’s new album was released with 24 tracks, and guest appearances from Jack Harlow and December Joy.

Meanwhile, Megan Thee Stallion’s latest surprise album “Traumazine” earned her another top 10 debuts on Billboard Chart, which is her fifth consecutive. Stallion’s new album charted at #4 with 63,000 equivalent units, including 85.72 million on-demand streams, and 8,000 from pure sales. The album arrived with 18 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Future, Dua Lipa, Key Glock, Jhene Aiko, Rico Nasty and more.
Bad Bunny drops to No. 2 in this week’s top 10, trailed by Bey at No. 3 and NBA YoungBoy at No. 5. Morgan Wallen, Harry Styles, The Weeknd, Future, and Olivia Rodrigo make up the bottom half of this week’s top ten.
