Rod Wave's New Album Nostalgia Debuts At No. 1 On US Billboard 200

Rod Wave earned another number 1 on Billboard with “Nostalgia”.

Rod Wave continues his Billboard domination as the rapper now earns the top spot for his new album Nostalgia. The new album moved 137,000 equivalent album units earned in the US for the week ending Sept. 21, as per Luminate.

The project earned 187.51 million on-demand official streams for 18 songs, which is the third-largest debut streaming week for an R&B/hip-hop album in the US in 2023. This is Rod Wave’s third consecutive number 1 album and in consecutive years. He is now the only rapper with a #1 album in 2021, 2022, and 2023. Nostalgia is now his 6th top-10 charting project on Billboard.

The new album was released with a pack of 18 tracks, including a guest appearance from 21 Savage on the song titled “Turks & Caicos”.

The new project is a follow-up to Wave’s last year’s “Beautiful Mind“ album, which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 with moving over 115,000 equivalent units, including 157.73 million on-demand streams and 2,000 from pure sales.
