Rick Ross Reveals 50 Cent's Earning From BMF, Gets Trolled For His Album's Sales

Rick Ross clowned for “Richer Than I Ever Been” album sales after he exposed 50 Cent’s “BMF” earnings.

Rick Ross and 50 Cent’s feud is going on for years, and the two often takes shots at each other. Rick Ross, who recently dropped his new album “Richer Than I Ever Been“, sat down with GQ’s Frazier Tharpe for a new interview, where he was also asked about doing a Verzuz battle against the POWER mogul.

“You got to ask yourself would he come and do a Verzuz with Rozay,” he said. “I mean, you got to ask yourself honestly, would he come and stand next to Rozay in the arena or wherever it would be? That’s really your question. I don’t even think it’s a question of if I would do it. That sh*t light.”

“50 would be light work? It’s 20 songs,” said Frazier. “Come on, now. I helped the views on his shows. On TV, he didn’t do nothing, man,” responds Ross.

Then he talked about the “Black Mafia Family” show and revealed how much 50 Cent earned from it. “Man, I saw the first [episode of BMF]. I was just trying to support the homie [Big] Meech, the n***as in the street,” he said. “I’m a real n***a. I could put [my issues with 50] to the side. I know he may have made a quarter million off the whole season. I’m happy he made that quarter. [Interviewer laughs.] You know that’s what he made. Why you laughing like that? And make sure you put all these details in. I’ll never let you interview me again if you take that out. Keep it. But, look I know he made 250k off the whole season, and that’s good. Tell him I said, ‘Congratulations.'”

After the dig at 50 Cent, fans trolled Rozay over the expected first-week sales of “Richer Than I Ever Been”, which was was shared by DJ Akademiks. Officer Rick Ross is bragging about 50 cent’s show’s generated revenue yet his album sales were only 30k!! [Laughing emoji] He needs 50’s reply for clout. Police officer acting like a gangsta [Laughing emoji],” a fan wrote. “50 made more off BMF season 1 than this double plastic album [Laughing emoji],” said another.

Ross and 50’s cold war enmity has just recently resurfaced. Once praising 50’s “Hate It Or Love It” verse, Ross quickly dismissed his old foe after 50 stated that he intended to borrow Ross’ “BMF (Blowin’ Money Fast)” for the upcoming STARZ series Black Mafia Family. “He could go to Wingstop and take a picture of a 10-piece Lemon Pepper (wings) and while you at it, take a picture with a Black bottle (of Bellaire),” Ross told Billboard about 50’s gesture. “And if he do that and post that, I’ma really consider clearing the “BMF” record for the show.”

Team 50 has already made fun of Rick Ross’ record sales earlier. During a 2015 interview with This Is 50, Curtis Jackson himself made fun of Rozay for Black Market’s poor sales forecasts by interjecting, “Black Market, Def Jam, 34,000. “Is it a rock or a brick?” he said, implying Ross had purchased 15,000 copies.

In a recent GQ interview, Rick Ross further disparaged 50 Cent by mocking his STARZ TV empire (“What channel is it really?”) and characterising him as a “mild” opponent in a Verzuz duel.
