Quavo posts a tribute on Takeoff’s 29th Birthday.
The late Takeoff would’ve been 29 today if not for the tragic death last year. Takeoff’s Migos partner and Uncle Quavo took to his social media to share tribute for Take with a series of photos and videos.
“Happy Birthday @yrntakeoff can’t wait for days like this again!!! BEST believe we goin up all week the Rocket way GEEKD u 29 ni**a,” he wrote with a old clip of them both checking out some clothes.
Huncho then received love from the likes of Bobby Shmurda, 2 Chainz, Busta Rhymes, Ty Dolla Sign, Murda Beatz, Fabolous, Mike Will Made It and more under his comments.

Rapper Takeoff was shot and killed in early November 2022 in Houston. “It’s so hard to tell you Ima miss you because you always with me and we did everything together. Since we were kids you have been by my side lookin up at me, them eyes waiting on me to make the next move,” wrote Quavo previously.
“Super quiet though, quietest in the room but paid attention to everything going on in the room, always been like that!!!” he continued. “Nothing ever really bothered Take and he didn’t bother anybody. He the most unbothered person in the world. He never got mad, he never raised his voice, and when he did, he silenced the room because what Take said was law and he wasn’t changing his mind fa na, not even Unc [Offset] could, you just gotta let me cool off for bout 30 mins.”
Offset also shared tribute for the late Takeoff. “Happy birthday rocket man the greatest to touch a mic!! best spirit ever!! purest man I know your heart was golden bring me peace bra we celebrate your life because you still right here I love you gang,” wrote Offset.
