Pusha T details his next studio album.
This year, Pusha T released his fourth studio album “It’s Almost Dry” and he earned his first-ever Billboard 200 number 1, after moving over 55,000 equivalent units in the first week. The rapper has now already started working on his next project, which he says is extremely special to him.
“I’m working on my new solo album, I’m working on an extremely special project to me right now which I am not going to get into,” he said in a conversation with Spotify. “It’s just all about music and staying competitive and just showing that there is a space for what it is that I do in hip-hop and that what I do in hip-hop is the most credible space and takes the most talent, and is just, it’s the realest.”

Previously, the “Daytona” rapper also teased a project with Dr. Dre. “If I start working on the next one, y’all can cancel Christmas… hey @drdre,” he captioned the picture with Dre in April. Later this month, the Bronx rapper will also be assisting Freddie Gibbs on the new song “Gold Rings” for the album “Soul Sold Separately”.

In other news, some of Pusha T’s older songs had received notice in recent weeks, notably by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, which utilised a bar from Pusha T’s 2013 single “Numbers On The Board” to demonstrate the country’s might in the face of Vladimir Putin’s Russian onslaught. “I put numbers on the boards,” Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said on Twitter, accompanied by a graphic outlining the country’s triumphs against Russia.
