The Projected First Week Sales Of Travis Scott's UTOPIA & Post Malone's Austin Album

Travis Scott is expected to top Billboard 200 with new album UTOPIA.

This week, Travis Scott returned with his long-awaited new album UTOPIA, and Post Malone also released his fifth studio effort “Austin“. The projected first-week numbers for both projects are here, and Scott is all set to top Billboard 200 with huge first-week sales.

According to HitsDailyDouble, Utopia is expected to move 245-275k units just from streaming alone, as the physical sales numbers are not available yet. Industry innuendo suggests Scott’s D2C orders have exceeded 200k. The album earned over 100m+ US first-day streams, and it is projected to earn 350m in the full first week.

UTOPIA album arrived with a pack of 19 tracks and star-studded guest appearances. The album featured Drake, Future, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Swae Lee, SZA, Beyonce, Kid Cudi, The Weeknd, 21 Savage and more.

Meanwhile, Post Malone is looking at a top 5 debut with his new album, which is projected to move around 100k equivalent units in the first week. This is Post Malone’s first offering since last year’s fourth studio album “Twelve Carat Toothache”, which debuted at 2 on Billboard 200 with 121,000 sales in the first week.
