Post Malone reveals “Stoney” Album Cover & Release Date.

Post Malone is all set to release his delayed album “Stoney” next month and today he decided to reveal the official Cover Art and Release Date. The project, which was originally scheduled to drop on August 26th, will hit stores on December 9th. On November 4th he will release a new track from the album. He also unveils the official cover art which is shot by photographer NABIL. Post Malone’s new project will have 14 tracks, and 18 in the deluxe edition. The likes of Justin Bieber, Kehlani, and Pharrell will feature on the album.

Nabil shot the cover image, which portrays a pensive Posty in front of an orange background with two hands on his chin. The album was supposed to be released on August 26th. That date, however, came and went. In an apology to fans at the time, he stated, “I know everyone is furious at me right now.” “I’d be furious as well. My CD will not be completed by the deadline I promised due to a variety of factors. I’m dissatisfied with myself and my entire team.” Post released August 26, a mixtape in May to build anticipation for his debut. 2 Chainz, Jaden Smith, and Lil Yachty were among the guests. Stoney will include Justin Bieber-assisted “Deja Vu,” as well as Pharrell, Kehlani, Quavo, Metro Boomin, and potentially Kanye West’s contributions.

On November 18, 2016, the album’s first promotional single, “Patient,” was released. Louis Bell was the only producer of the song. The RIAA awarded it platinum status. On December 2, 2016, the album’s second promotional single, “Leave,” was released. Rex Kudo, Charlie Handsome, and Cashio collaborated on the song’s production.

With 58,000 album-equivalent units, Stoney debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200, with 19,000 pure album sales. The album slid to number 23 on the list in its second week, selling an additional 30,000 sales. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album three times platinum on June 6, 2018, based on combined sales and album-equivalent units of over three million units.

Stoney debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, eventually reaching number four. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded the album 3 platinum and the British Phonographic Industry awarded it platinum (BPI). Malone’s biggest Billboard Hot 100 success at the time was “Congratulations,” which featured Quavo and was certified Diamond (11 platinum) by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Stoney (Complete Edition) was released on streaming platforms on December 9, 2021, the album’s fifth anniversary. Except for “White Iverson” and “Feeling Whitney,” the revised edition of the album contained instrumentals for every song on the album.

On November 4, 2016, it was released as a promotional single. Metro Boomin and Frank Dukes co-produced the song, which was also co-produced by Louis Bell. It reached number eight on the Hot 100 and was certified 11 platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), surpassing diamond certification (10 platinum) to become Malone’s largest and first international hit.
