New Playboi Carti music is coming soon.
It looks like Playboi Carti’s long-awaited return to music is on the way. The rapper who had been teasing his next project, reportedly titled “Music”, makes his return to social media.
The Georgia rapper first teased new music through Instagram, where he shared an image of a play button over an equalizer image on his story. He then posted an Artwork, possibly for an album or a single on his account.

Carti last released an album exactly three years ago, when he dropped “Whole Lotta Red” on 2020 Christmas. The album featured appearances from Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Future. It earned him his first Billboard 200 #1 debut as the project charted atop with 100,000 album-equivalent units.
In a couple of months, Playboi Carti will also headline Rolling Loud California 2023 in March, so there are chances of new music or project from the rapper.
Carti previously disclosed to XXL that his next formal body of work may be titled Music “because that’s all it is at this point.” He also revealed what fans should anticipate from the next release: “Love. S*x. Drugs. Changes in my life. I’ve been rapping about going to rehab. I want to go to rehab because I think I’m bipolar. I want everybody to feel free. I want this album to make everyone feel free. I hope this album brings peace to the world, honestly. I’m in love with what I’m doing. Like I told you, you can’t put a genre alternative [on me]. My little brother told me that all the time.”
