Paul Rosenberg posts rare freestyle Eminem from 1997.
Pigeons & Planes recently shared a rare Eminem freestyle from 1997, which was before he found fame. The 30-second clip is from the time he was participating in Rap Olympics and was invited by Wendy Day to Sway Calloway and DJ King Tech’s “Wake Up Show”. “Take a look back at @Eminem’s 1997 Wake Up Show freestyle. In 1997, Eminem flew out to LA for the Rap Olympics, where he came in second. Afterwards, event promoter Wendy Day asked Sway and Tech if she could bring the standout competitors to “The Wake Up Show” for a cypher,” they wrote in the caption.
The clip also featured Eminem’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg, who re-shared the post and joked about having hair at that time. Check it out below.
